Roasted Brussell Sprouts

I know what you’re thinking.  No freakin’ way.  I hear ya.  My memories of brussel sprouts are not pretty, but once I tried these Barefoot Contessa inspired babies, trust me, you, your kids, your spouse, even your mother in law will have a whole new outlook on these little beauties.  healthy eating for kids Roasted Brussell Sprouts

Ok, I am going to take your word for it! I am headed to the grocery store today and will pick up some brussel sprouts! I actually have the Montreal Steak seasoning!

  2. OK, the sprouts and I have a BAD history. I haven’t been able to eat, look or smell them since I was 7. I sat at the table before everyone else and scarfed down the ENTIRE bowl of them…everyone was taking too long and I was starving. Every since, I haven’t been able to stomach them, BUT this is looking very tempting. Hmmmm

I was wondering if you were going to talk about these. I noticed them on your plate yesterday next to the potato and was interested to know how you cooked them. I actually have some Montreal seasoning right now as well so these may be in our future. Have a great weekend!

I have never tried brussel sprouts in my life. I don’t think my mother dared make them for us – she probably didn’t want to listen to us complain! But now I’d like to try them, so I’m glad for your recipe.

  13. I LOVE roasted Brussels sprouts, too!

I have a recipe posted that included roasting them with bacon (which has won over the most anti-Brussels sprouts haters!). It’s definitely all about the roasting.

    Great tips!

Okay, just might have to try these. My husband LOVES Brussels sprouts, and I… do not. So the poor man hasn’t ever had them in our home! Might be time to try. :)
