12 small peanut butter cups

green and red sprinkles (or blue for Hannukah)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Remove cookie dough from plastic lining.  Cut tube of dough into 24 equal slices.  Place 12 cookies down on a lined baking sheet.  In the center of each cookie place one peanut butter cup.  Cover with another slice of cookie dough.

Decorate with approriate colored sprinkles.  Bake at 350 for 11 minutes.  Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then move recipes for kids kid favorite recipes holidays crafts    Peanut butter surprise sugar cookiesto a wire rack and allow to cool completely.  Enjoy with a big glass of milk.

Cookies for Breakfast

Serves: 8
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

½ cup        Butter room temperature
2/3 cup     Brown sugar, packed
1 t               Baking soda
¾ t             Baking powder
2 eggs        Beaten
1 cup         All purpose flour
¾ cup       Whole wheat flour
3 cups       Multi grain cereal
¾ cup       Dried blueberries cranberries,
and raisins mix

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the bowl of an electric mixer beat butter, sugar, and baking soda until combined. Add in eggs and beat until mixed. Add in flours and beat until smooth.

Mix in cereal and dried fruit with a wooden spoon. With your hands form batter into large golf ball sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Press down on each ball with a spoon to flatten it slightly. Place cookies in the oven and bake for 12 – 15 minutes. Let stand 1 minute then transfer to cooling rack. Enjoy these warm with a glass of milk.
