Such lucky boys! I think ice cream can make any ordinary day perfect.
That sounds absolutely perfect! My perfect day??? I’d sleep (not something I do well). Then I’d linger over several cups of coffee before meandering to the Farmers’ Market to buy one of everything. I’d go home and start chopping, dicing, stirring, cooking, baking; and then I’d have hours at my disposal, in peace and quiet, to write it all up for Food Floozie. Of course, THAT’LL never happen! But a girl can dream …
We had it earlier this year… also at the beach… start out there in the morning, wander in to the condo for lunch… back out for the afternoon, rinse off, hit the pool then walk down for a beach-side dinner at the local dive… LOVE IT!!! Headed back to the beach today!

our perfect day is about the same…a beach or pool day is ALWAYS a great day! about a month ago, we rented a beach house close to our house with our family. We all ate dinner, then decided last minute to put on our swimsuits and head to the beach-which was walking distance. The parents were in clothes and suddenly, we were all SOAKED. The kids were running in the water, the sun was setting, they were laughing, they soaked all of us and we were all laughing and running around with them…just one of those memories I’ll have forever of my husband and boys having a great time with the rest of my extended family

Great pictures! My perfect day? Hmmmmmmm… I’d have to say that my perfect day would consist of a trip to the book store and then a kitchen supply store and then off for ice cream (just like your boys). I wouldn’t even have to buy anything…well except the ice cream.. I just love browsing through those stores!!
Your post’s title drew me right in. I agree, nothing more perfect than this day! Now I’m craving a PB&J fresh on the beach… You know how it gets a little warm and a bit more gooey? YUM!

How fun. Doesn’t it amaze you how easy it is to entertain them? We went to the pet store the other day to get the dog groomed and I’m pretty sur eit was the best day of the summer for Adam.
