Having a bad day? Needs something to raise your spirits? Check out this adorable trailer for the Babies Movie that is coming out on, insert AWWWWWW here, Mother’s Day 2010.
Talk about a way to perk up your mood. I’ve always wondered what life is like for babies around the world. I remember sitting in the hospital’s Parent Prep classes and them hammering in our skulls baby safety, choking hazaards, SIDS threats, and what the correct temperature is to keep your child from not dying in their sleep. Lo and Behold that summer comes and it’s too expensive to run the air all night long and that magic temperature travels from 68 degrees to somewhere north of 74 and I’m freaking out because the man at the hospital said that’s too hot and now Keegan will surely be dead by morning…
To calm down my adorable husband calmly assures me that they don’t have air conditioning in places like Africa, and they have babies there everyday. Ah, the voice of reason. And he’s right. Every time I get a little bent out of shape over some toy we can’t afford or some little thing unavailable to us presently I remember that my kids have it pretty good. It’s nice to see other parts of the world where, while they may not have as much, they still have great and adorable babies. And a baby is a baby is a baby. They laugh, they cry, they learn, and they poop…and man, do these kids look cute doing it!
Go watch the trailer, you’ll be glad you did.
